Ricky's Now on the Other Side of McAnthony Window
by John Cooper
Pictured above Ann, our Kitchen coordinator with Ricky Peed longtime patron --- now volunteer!
Ricky Peed, who I've written about several times in this newsletter, recently completed the CADS substance abuse program. It's been a blessing to follow Ricky on his journey from homeless and longtime McAnthony Window patron to having an apartment and rebuilding his life.

Ricky's wanting to give back. This week he helped out in the kitchen serving patrons who were surprised to see him on the serving side of McAnthony Window. His service with a smile brought smiles to their faces.

At this weekend's retreat for the homeless, that St. Anthony's is sponsoring, Ricky will give a "witness talk." Please continue to pray for Ricky as well as our retreat this weekend!

Recently, Ascension Press tried to post a video with this image of Jesus to Facebook as part of a Lenten study on the Passion of Christ. Facebook prohibited its posting as it was considered to shocking to share.

Do you think images of Christ's suffering should be banned by Facebook?
