After Regionals, we're excited to welcome my longtime friend Suzanne Galdun for a clinic on
rider biomechanics. Suzanne Galdun is one of only 9 currently accredited Ride With Your Mind biomechanics coaches in the United States. With an incredible eye for detail, Suzanne works to bring riders to a new level of awareness and understanding of what they are actually doing in the saddle, and how to communicate more clearly to the horse. Her lessons include creative language and hands-on resistances as well as open dialogue between coach and rider. Auditing is $35/day and includes lunch;

We're also gearing up for an exciting winter clinic series. Both assistant trainer Karrigan Norris and I will be heading to Florida this winter, but we'll be returning home for some exciting
teaching weekends! We're still working out exactly what those weekends will look like - we're learning towards our wildly-popular
Winter Adult Camps - but we are 100% sure of the dates, so mark these on your calendar: Karrigan will be home January 8-9 and February 12-13, and I will be home January 29-30 and March 12-13. Watch this space, as well as
our Facebook page, for details and sign up as we put them together!
A few changes to our operating protocol, in light of the gravity of the Delta Variant: if you're unvaccinated, we ask that you are masked everywhere on the property, indoors or out, and let your instructor know that you're unvaccinated so we can prepare accordingly. If you've been vaccinated, thank you! We still ask that you wear a mask when you're in an indoor space - restroom, tack room, pantry. Lest you were curious, 100% of our stable staff, and 100% of our boarder clients, are vaccinated. Thank you all so much for your compassion, your patriotism, and your understanding!
Another request: it is still warm out, but we are so lucky as to have fantastic well water. Please treat yourself to a reusable water bottle and feel free to fill it from our tap, rather than using a single-use plastic bottle. If you do bring disposable plasticwear, please recycle in the containers in the indoor arena or in the barn.
As usual, we are open for trailer-in folks, in the afternoons and evenings, and we have limited stall space for short-term or long-term training horses. I also offer virtual lessons worldwide; all you need is a solid internet connection, a cell phone, a camera holder and a pair of wireless headphones. No fancy Pixem or Pivo required! (Though I teach on them, too, of course.) I have virtual students across North America! Email me to learn more.
And you can expand your education for just pennies a month by joining the
Sprieser Sporthorse Elite Club. The SSHEC is a members-only experience for dressage enthusiasts, offering an all-access pass to the development of horses from foal to FEI!
Head over to Strider to join.
We are all confident that we can help you and your horses advance safely and responsibly, and look forward to seeing you!
