Costume Jumper Class RETURNS to the

142nd National Horse Show

Lexington, KY – October 8, 2025 – The National Horse Show is excited to welcome back the crowd and competitor favorite, $5,000 Best Costume Award! 

Jumpers competing in the 1.40m Speed Stake, Class 216, are encouraged to dress themselves and their horses in creative costumes for a chance to win! Have some fun and show some Halloween spirit!

Competitors are responsible for providing their own costumes. Riders are encouraged to be creative and dress themselves and their horses in fun attire for a chance to win the Best Costume Award. All costumes must remain family-friendly and culturally respectful. Costumes deemed offensive or inappropriate will not be permitted.

NEW FOR THIS YEAR, The WSJ Lounge is located on the concourse with an unobstructed view of the arena. Includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner (during evening classes). Tables or tickets are available for purchase and can be secured by completing the form below.
