Shelton, WA (June 15, 2022) – Ridge Motorsports Park, a premier racing destination in the Pacific Northwest, has announced a partnership with Dynapac to become the entitlement sponsor for the upcoming MotoAmerica Race June 24-26.
The Dynapac MotoAmerica Superbikes race weekend will showcase six different classes of motorcycles over the three-day event, including MotoAmerica’s premier series – Medallia Superbike, capable of speeds reaching up to 200 mph on the 16-turn, 2.47-mile natural terrain road course that The Ridge is known for.
This is the second time the series will compete at The Ridge, as it is more commonly known in the racing community. The inaugural Dynapac partnership showcases the rapid growth of both the event and the facility as it continues to attract nationally televised events.
“This was the perfect partnership thanks to our existing relationship with Modern Machinery – a Dynapac dealer that is prominent in the Pacific Northwest,” said Tracie Schmitt, general manager of The Ridge.
“We have made significant improvements to the facility with the assistance of Modern Machinery and Dynapac heavy equipment. Their full range of high-tech compaction and paving equipment have helped us create a racing surface that the MotoAmerica riders and sportscar teams celebrate, so this partnership is the perfect marriage of technology and competition. We are thrilled to be able to showcase their abilities in the racing arena with MotoAmerica.”
The event will offer racing fans some of the most exciting racing action in the country as the high-horsepower production-based bikes of the MotoAmerica series take on the famous and daunting 50-foot plunge down The Ridge turn complex, punctuated by food, karting, rider interaction opportunities and the unique Dynapac display and activation.
Dynapac has a complete range of compaction equipment products, from the very smallest to one of the world’s largest. They offer a complete range of road paving equipment and a solution for every paving application.
“At Dynapac, we are committed to supporting our customers in their journey through application support to personalized training, just like the pit crew for racing teams,” said Jamie Roush, president, and general manager for Dynapac North America.
“We are excited to be a part of this year’s family friendly event to showcase our equipment to the next generation. From soil rollers, large asphalt rollers to pavers, we encourage families to check out the Modern Mountain where they can touch, climb up on and even sit in the operator’s seat to feel what it’s like on road construction equipment.”
In addition to the Superbike feature, MotoAmerica will also be showcasing the equally exciting Supersport series, as well as Stock 1000, Twins Cup, Junior, and Mini Cup by Motul.
