4th Annual Taste of the Ridge
The Peachtree Ridge Marching Band and Athletic Department will be hosting the 4th Annual Taste of the Ridge this Saturday, September 7, at Peachtree Ridge High School
from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Event details include 16-18 food vendors, 14 non-food vendors, silent auction items and a DJ. Tickets for the event are $10 and include a "taste" from all food vendors.

Confirmed food vendors include: Arena Tavern, California Dreaming, Chick-fil-a, Friend's American Grill, Frontera, Jett's Pizza, Little Caesar's, M Jay's Bakery, Marlow's, Newks, Pepe's, Tequila Mama, Special Kneads and Treats Bakery, Red Crawfish, Uncle Jack's Meat House and Taziki's.

Do want to learn more about leadership skills and get free Chick-Fil-A at the same time? YOU should apply for Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy! We learn about how to become a better leader and make an impact in our community through action. Applications are due September 9th and can be found at .

It's almost time to register
for AP Exams!

MyPaymentsPlus will open on September 30
for AP Exam Registration.

 Registering for one AP Exam will be $10 and subsequent Exams will be $94 (except for AP Seminar & AP Research which are $142). 

The deadline for AP Exam Registration is  November 1, 2019 .

School Council Nominations
Nominations for parent members - deadline Monday, Sept 9, 2019. It is a 2- year commitment to participate in School Council meetings (7:30-8:30 a.m. four times per year). Nominees must have a student currently enrolled at PRHS. Email nominations with a short bio and digital photo (optional) to . We will vote in the lobby Sept 9-20. Results will be announced in late September.

Calling All Artists! It's time get creative, be original, and enter the PTA Reflections Contest! This year's theme is "Look Within!" and the categories include: Visual Arts, Photography, Literature, Music Composition, Dance Choreography, and Film Production. 

Bring your entries to the Media Center on Thursday, September 26 during PRIDE. 1st and 2nd place winners will be selected for each category and for each grade level. Best of luck!!

Final Yearbooks
Finally, Yearbooks are currently $80 on MyPaymentsPlus . The price goes up on October 15. Anyone wishing to pay with cash or check throughout the year can do so in A112.

Drivers Ed

Tuesdays & Thursdays 3pm to 7pm and Saturdays - 7:30am to 2:30pm 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction will also assigned and completed after the last day of in-classroom learning (Saturday, 9/28).
