🌊 Baptism Sunday, April 13, 2025! 🙌

Join us for a special Baptism Sunday on April 13, 2025, as we celebrate new life in Christ through the sacrament of baptism! Whether you’re taking this step in faith for the first time or reaffirming your baptism, this is a moment of joy and renewal in our church family.

If you or a loved one would like to be baptized, please contact Andy Ginn at andy@theridgecolumbus.com for more information.

Let’s rejoice together as we witness God’s grace at work in the lives of our brothers and sisters!

"Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." – Acts 2:38

Souled Out Summer Is our biggest youth event of the year! We hope for every student to attend this life-giving and life-changing student conference tailored specifically to them. Souled Out is open to middle and high school students and is held at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat on the west end of Panama City Beach, FL. Morning and evening worship and speakers set the tone for each day. The conference is discipleship oriented, and each student will participate in a D-Group (disciple group) made up of students of their grade and gender. Each D-group is led by trained, college-age Discipleship Leaders (D-Leaders) whose focus is on helping students open up and grow closer to Christ. Lots of free time is scheduled into each afternoon for individual activities, swimming at the pools or beach, playing in the basketball/Ultimate Frisbee/volleyball, etc. tournaments, competing in the strong man/woman contest, or just hanging out and relaxing. Souled Out is the perfect setting for students to open up and be real with God and with each other.

This year’s Souled Out theme is “Written on My Heart,” based on 2 Corinthians 3:3. We are a message to the world of the love of Christ.

Worship will be led by Jonathan and Lisa and their band, MOORE, along with Mike Marshall and Mallory Lang.

Jordan Easley is back again as this year’s evening speaker.

The morning speaker is Christian comedian Lee McBride. He brings the word in a straight-forward and funny way, and he always cuts to the core of what’s going on in students’ hearts.

The camp coach, Nathan Carr, will lead recreation.

Beyond St. Patrick’s Day: Living the Legacy

"But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." – Matthew 5:44

St. Patrick’s Day has come and gone—perhaps you wore green, saw shamrocks, or even participated in celebrations. But now that the holiday is behind us, what can we take from the life of St. Patrick that lasts beyond just one day?

Patrick’s story isn’t about luck or legends; it’s about faithfulness in the face of hardship. As a young man, he was kidnapped from his home, taken to Ireland, and forced into slavery. For six years, he endured isolation and suffering, but instead of falling into despair, he turned to God. Prayer became his constant companion, and his heart grew stronger in faith.

Through divine guidance, Patrick escaped and returned home. But instead of staying where it was safe and familiar, he responded to God’s call to go back—to the very people who had once enslaved him. He chose to bring them the Gospel, turning a place of past pain into a place of mission and redemption. His obedience changed the course of Ireland’s history, leading many to Christ.

Now that the holiday is over, how will we allow Patrick’s faith to shape our own lives? Will we trust God in our trials? Will we forgive those who have wronged us? Will we go where He leads, even when it’s difficult?

St. Patrick’s life wasn’t about a single moment of celebration; it was about daily faithfulness to God’s calling. This week, as we move forward from the holiday, let us carry his example with us—not just in memory, but in how we live our faith each day.

Prayer:

Lord, as we reflect on St. Patrick’s life, help us to follow his example of faith, courage, and love. Teach us to trust You in hardship, to love those around us, and to walk boldly in obedience to Your call. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Live by faith, be known by love, and serve as a voice of hope for others,

Andy Ginn

We are excited to invite you to join us as we seek God's face through His Word in 2025! We are embarking on a church-wide Bible Reading Plan, a meaningful journey to deepen our faith, strengthen our unity as a church family, and grow in our understanding of Scripture.

Calling all RidgeRunners kids in 1st through 5th grade!

Find camper and student and adult volunteer registration below.

Camp 4:12 is on for June 22-26!

Early Bird registration total of $340 for the first 50

campers who pay their deposit.

Total cost increases to $390 after the first 50 campers from all churches. Public registration opens on March 16.

Camp 4:12 is an amazing week of fun, encouragement, and faith development for kids entering 2nd through 6th grades. Each year The Ridge partners with Pierce Chapel and St. Mark to host this overnight camp that runs from Sunday afternoon through Thursday afternoon at Pine Eden Christian Retreat Center in Hamilton, GA. Campers will experience worship and teaching, lots of swimming and recreation, crafts, chill time, great food, and their choice of two daily electives like canoeing, theater, sports, games, book club, wilderness survival and lots more! Cabins are organized by age and gender with around 12 campers each and are led by a team of one adult counselor and 2 or 3 high school counselors. Scholarships are available through The Ridge for Ridge families. Learn more and register by following the link below. Contact Nathan at nathan@theridgecolumbus.com for scholarship information or any questions about camp.

We need volunteers including parents, grandparents, high school students and middle school students who want to make camp amazing for our RidgeRunners! Many roles do not involve staying overnight. Youth and children's ministry staff from each of the three churches are on site all week, but we need a great team of volunteers to make camp a success. Please contact Nathan if you are interested in helping in one of the following areas: cabin counselor, kitchen helper, lifeguard, elective leader, setup/cleanup, music team, or crafts.

March Themes

Pre-K: "God's Wonderful Gift"

Elementary: Generosity

Hey Parents!

Our Li'l RidgeRunners theme is "God's Wonderful Gift". We're learning about the Holy Spirit, the gift Jesus gave us after his resurrection. (Romans 15:19)

Bible Point: God's Holy Spirit gives me power.

This month in Elementary RidgeRunners, we’re learning how generous God is with us and how he wants us to be generous toward others. (1 Timothy 6:18)

Car Talk:

  1. What is something special someone has given you?
  2. Why is it important to God for us to be generous?
  3. What is something you could share with others?

Memory Verse:

“Command them to do good, to be rich

in good deeds, and to be generous

and willing to share.” - 1 Timothy 6:18
