Ridgeland Ice Rink Closed Through Labor Day
Reopens September 6th
The Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex's ice rink is closed through Labor Day due to rink maintenance. The rink's ice is being melted down; then the surface will be cleaned and replaced with fresh ice, and a new paintjob.
This maintenance process will make the ice smooth, strong, and safe for Oak Park skaters through future seasons and beyond!
DID YOU KNOW? The images and logos under the ice—are posters that are frozen into the ice's layers! Over time, these posters degrade and need replacing. Keep an eye out for the new ones in September!
