The last Saturday of January (31st), I'm offering my popular Urban Rifle course. This is an intermediate-to-advanced rifle-shooting course, not for inexperienced rifle shooters.

Event for Beginning to Advanced Shooters:

Weekend morning 3 hour event builds a baseline for rifle handling and manipulation. These courses will improve your consistency in presentation, recoil control, multiple shots, basic movement, and much more.

Ideal for setting up success with a rifle with a sling. Learn the baseline skills for proper rifle manipulation. You can book the class HERE

Before you attend:

You should own a carbine/rifle

You should have a sling attached

You should have iron sights or optic

You should have the ability have at least 60 rounds on your person

Prerequisites:

• Rifle of choice

• Sling

• Understand and practice firearm safety

• Have attended multiple structured training classes

AllSafe Urban Rifle
Urban Rifle Ed

The AllSafe Urban Rifle is designed to demonstrate the full potential of a centerfire rifle in neutralizing a hostile environment. Not for inside your home, but defending your neighborhood. Of all the small arms, the rifle is the premier implement for delivering significant stopping power at distance. When properly employed, it is also very effective at closer ranges.



Rifle marksmanship is an exercise in stillness and absolute control of position, breathing, and trigger. Applying these basic fundamentals to rapid-fire situations creates an interesting and fun challenge. Targets include IPSC silhouettes shot for score and reactive steel, shot for fun!
Urban Rifle

This course IS NOT A BASIC LEVEL CLASS. It goes beyond the basics and includes snapshots, understanding your ammunition's trajectory, speed reloading, and shooting from unique positions not found in normal high-power rifle matches.


The purpose of the AllSafe Urban Rifle course is to bring out your “black rifles” and enjoy their excellent features without crippling your rifles with Kalifornia encumbrances. You will be impressed by their capability to “reach out and touch” selected targets with a lot of horsepower at considerable distances. Your rifle will NOT be inspected. But your ammo will (no steel-core or green tip).

I've had the unpleasant experience of telling people they were not qualified to carry a concealed weapon on the street. It troubles me because I want to encourage people to be armed. But if they aren't competent with their handgun, I am uncomfortable signing their training certificate.


Along with Ken Richter, I am developing a free ZOOM class entitled CCW Foundations Training. The fact that we are not charging any money will hopefully encourage less-experienced people to sign up and walk through the mindset and discussion of what they must know to carry a concealed weapon in public.


After the ZOOM class, people will be invited to join Ken at a local range to shoot an abbreviated course of fire to ensure they understand the fundamentals of handgun self-defense and are prepared to take the high-pressure AllSafe CCW class. There will be a nominal fee for the live fire. We're thinking $40.
