HIS Rest

As it is, however, there still remains for God's people a rest like God's resting on the seventh day.
For those who receive that rest which God promised will rest from their own work, just as God rested from his.
Hebrews 4:9-10 Good News Bible
If you're tired, if you're struggling... it's not God. He doesn't do tired and struggling. There's no lesson to be learned there. Here's what the God of your salvation says... "Come unto me all who are heavy laden and I (Jesus) will give you rest". (Matthew 11:28)
He says, "The reason you're not resting is there are some things you just don't know," He continues, "Take my yoke and LEARN of me."
You say, "What don't I know."
I say, "I don't know what you don't know."
Maybe you don't realize your children belong to God and now that they're older you still think you need to control them and refuse to trust God...that'll tire you out.
Maybe you think you're still in a "rat race," trying to "wheel & deal" through life...that'll keep you struggling.
Maybe you're still working hard trying to please God, not realizing that He unconditionally loves you...that'll take away your enjoying peace.
It could be many different things, but it all boils down to us not trusting God in a certain area of our lives that keeps us from enjoying the peace and rest of God. Cast all your cares over on Him. Stop being anxious. Know that He'll work in every area of your life as you surrender it to Him. When you do, you'll enter the rest that comes from your faith in Him.

If you would like to accept and confess Jesus Christ, making Him your personal Lord and Savior or if you have turned away from Him to go your own way and wish to return to Him, pray the following prayer aloud:
Dear Jesus,
I believe You are the Son of God.
I believe You died and rose from the dead on the third day.
I believe You are alive and now seated at the right hand of the Father.
I believe You died for my sin; paying the debt for sin that I could not pay myself.
Please forgive me for all my sin.
I invite You into my heart and my life to be my Lord and Savior.
I am forgiven. I am now born-again. I am now a child of God.
Thank You, Lord.
In Jesus' Name. Amen.
