Every fight...every cause...every argument is not for us to enter or engage. The Holy Ghost will lead us in this. Reports will cause righteous indignation to arise in our hearts; but we are not to go on pure emotion, which clouds focus and judgment. We are to go fueled on passion for what God deems right. We are to seek God for the "if, when, and in what manner" to enter in. The devil would love to keep us all fired up, at all times, and about every injustice to keep us fragmented, preoccupied and of little to no effect. Although we are called to represent the Lord here in the earth, it must never be without Him (His deploy, insight, strategy and designated resources).

 

King David inquired of the Lord, "Shall I go up to battle?" - as did others. Sometimes God said to go...at times, to go at once; at other times He told them to hold off; while at others He instructed them to "war" in a most unconventional way. Regardless of God's directives they always yielded victory; and so it is for us today. 

We are never to shrink back; but always go on the authority and direction of the Lord. This makes it the right fight; the one He has called us to take on, and how. We do have some work to do...some battles to fight...some rules, laws and occupations to overturn, overthrow and implement...all for the glory of God, and the expansion of His Kingdom.

 

Yes, there are many wrongs perpetrating as "rights," yet in our abiding in God we can discern and know which are our personal assignments, tasks and causes to undertake and engage. We prosper in everything we set our hands to. Of battles, let's make sure we set our hands to the causes He set for us - individually and corporately. Let's be about the right fight.
