Houston, TX - A panel replacement is scheduled to begin at Rill Lane on Monday, May 1, 2017. The scope of work includes removal and replacement of sections at 16207 Rill Lane. Construction is anticipated to be complete by the end of May 2017.
The City of Houston's Public Works and Engineering Department (PWE) will be repairing the roadway at 16207 Rill Lane in both westbound curb and eastbound curb lanes. Both lanes will be replaced, but one lane will remain open at all times to maintain the traffic flow. PWE is scheduled to start repairs in the eastbound lane and will begin repairing the westbound lane after the east lane has cured. C
onstruction activities behind closed areas may occur from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
To ensure driver and worker safety, traffic control measures will be in place at all times.During the project, there will be visual signage to indicate to motorists which lane will be closed. The District E office has also contacted the Houston Police Department's Clear Lake substation to ask that officers can monitor the location and provide assistance with traffic control as needed.
