Join us as we kick off the 12 Days of Christmas!

Hyatt Regency Houston West, 13210 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079

The Energy Corridor District gives back to the community each year through our 12 Days of Christmas program. The highlight of the 12 Days of Christmas is generous donations to nonprofits that benefit individuals in the Energy Corridor. Each year, the District selects different nonprofits for the donations and the recipients are announced at the annual tree lighting ceremony, which this year will be held at 5:30 p.m. on December 1st.

In addition to the four Giving Day recipients, the District rounds out the 12 Days program with a show of gratitude to first responders, health care workers and law enforcement. This year, ConocoPhillips is joining those efforts with a generous sponsorship that will allow for more robust giving to those entities and individuals that sacrifice throughout the year to keep us all safe, healthy and secure.

Finally, the holidays are meant to be fun! The District has several days in the program dedicated to contests and giveaways. You can participate in the event by joining us on Instagram to "Show Your Energy" with a selfie in front of the Energy Corridor tree! And be entered into a raffle by showing up in your best Christmas gear at the Energy Corridor Winter Market on December 10th. We will raffle off $50 gift cards to District businesses and restaurants, a way to also support our small business community.

Buy a Gift: Help the District & HFD Brighten Christmas

3 locations, multiple opportunities, online or in person

The Houston Fire Department's annual Operation Stocking Stuffer is in full swing and The Energy Corridor District, a proud sponsor for 2022, wants your help collecting gifts to ensure all Houston children have a fantastic holiday!

Operation Stocking Stuffer started 30 years ago when a Houston teacher, trying to help disadvantaged children during the holidays, began collecting used toys and distributing them out of the trunk of her car. After a few years, seeing the need, she approached the Houston Fire Department to distribute the toys from local precincts. From there, the partnership and the program grew and in 2019, by collaborating and partnering with businesses throughout the community, Operation Stocking Stuffer distributed more than 20,000 toys to Houston-area children.

This year, The Energy Corridor District is supporting the annual gift drive. Please donate by buying either buying a gift online or dropping off an unwrapped gift at the District's offices at 777 N. Eldridge Parkway, Suite 270, Houston, TX 77079. We will also have a box to collect gifts at the 2nd Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 1st, at A Charlie Brown Christmas 5K on December 3rd and at the Energy Corridor Winter Festival on December 10th.
