Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are really proud of our students during this week of training and start of hybrid learning. They adapted to new routines quickly and had a great attitude. Those in full distance learning were patient as we adjusted to a new way of doing things.

We appreciate everything our community is doing to keep one another safe. As we proceed with hybrid learning, thank you for your continued patience, flexibility, and support.

Sincerely,

ARHS Administration
Frosh Olympics

Thank you to Riordan's House Team for orchestrating our annual Frosh Olympics. This great Riordan tradition took a new format this year, but the spirit of fun and friendly competition remained. Kudos to the 2020 winner, the House of Russi.

New Mask Policy

  • Students should wear a fabric or surgical mask to school each day.

  • If using a cloth mask, please remember that they should be washed regularly to maintain effectiveness.

  • We will have additional masks for students to use if their mask becomes wet or dirty, but recommend each student bring an extra mask.

Nutrition Tips for a Successful School Day
As Crusaders return to school, it's a good time to highlight how important nutrition is to learning. Eating healthy meals throughout the day is essential for brain function and to feeling alert and focused. Getting enough water, protein, fiber, and whole foods are keys to a successful school day.

Here are some healthy no-mess snack ideas:
• banana • apple • protein or granola bar • drinkable yogurt • juice • PB&J • pretzels and cheese • grapes • trail mix or nuts

Healthy reminders:
  • Be sure to fill up your water bottle at home and stay hydrated!
  • Try to get some exercise before the sun sets, which is around 5:00 pm during late November and early December.
  • Don’t forget to get your flu shot to keep your family and community healthy!
