Vermont Route 125

Closure Notification


A 12 day closure of VT 125 will begin

July 27, 2026 at 7 a.m. and is scheduled to be

completed on or before August 7, 2026 at 6 p.m.



The closure location is approximately 3.4 miles east of the intersection with U.S. Route 7 and about 1.0 mile west of the intersection with Lincoln Road in Ripton, VT.

DETOUR INFORMATION


A regional signed detour will be in place on U.S. 7, Vermont Route 73, and Vermont Route 100.


From U.S. 7:


Motorists traveling on U.S. 7 looking to proceed eastbound on VT 125 should proceed to VT 73 East to VT 100 and continue.


From VT 100:


Vehicles traveling on VT 100 with the intent of turning westbound on VT 125 should proceed to VT 73 West to U.S. 7.

LOCATION:


The Ripton ER P23-1(322) project will replace the Bridge #13A culvert on Vermont Route 125. The culvert is approximately 3.4 miles east of U.S. 7 and 1.0 mile west of the intersection with Lincoln Road. Work to be completed under this project includes the construction of a new pre-cast box culvert with related roadway and associated channel work. A final construction completion date is scheduled for September 18, 2026.
