Rural Black churches have long been places of faith, resilience, leadership, and community life. This panel brings together rural Black church leaders to share stories of ministry, perseverance, and renewal while reflecting on the traditions that sustain their congregations, the challenges and opportunities facing rural churches today, and the creative ways they are cultivating hope and strengthening their communities. Through storytelling and conversation, the panel will celebrate the enduring witness of the rural Black Church and explore how its rich heritage can serve as a living resource for renewal, transformation, and faithful ministry for generations to come.
