Stay accountable together in God's Word through this amazing website resource called The Gospel Coalition. Click on "Read the Bible" this will take you to "Today's Reading" where you will see D. A. Carson's commentary, then four selections from the Bible. Really solid stuff for you to feed upon!

Initially David desires to build a house for God--a house of worship! But God flips the table and makes a covenant with David to build him a house. What is this house of David? Hint: Jesus. "God's Covenant with David" points us to the dynasty that God will build with the house of David. This promise leaves David awestruck (us too!) because of the grace shown by our heavenly Father to send the Savior and give us the kingdom. How appreciative are we for this privilege of grace toward us?

UPPER ROOM PRAYER MEETING
SUNDAY 8 AM
You are welcome to join some of the leadership for 15 minutes of prayer for our worship. Located in the Upper Room opposite the Youth Room.

PRAY FOR:
  • Pray for Dave/Dede Perron's grand-daughter Ollie/Nick/Michaela for trip to Boston, the operation/cancer/chemo treatment and wisdom for doctors.
  • Heather Chermak healing and new hope in Christ;
  • Genny Bernet's sister has passed, pray for her and her mom. Memorial next Saturday.
  • Pray for NEW faces to arrive in worship;
  • Pray that despair is taken to the Savior this New Year and that it leads to the greatest harvest of souls;
  • Pray the church at large will have unity in purpose;
  • Pray for one friend to trust Christ this new year!
