Join a community of developers, software programmers, designers, and a diverse range of talented industry-based professionals. Prizes include access to exclusive workshops, mentoring opportunities, and more. Ages 14+, available worldwide. 28th-30th October

The World Around: Youth Climate Prize - Designed to invest in the generation born into the climate crisis, and provide visibility, support and mentorship for 25 youth leaders from around the world. Selected applicants will join an academy and each be mentored by some of the world’s leading climate-change-focused designers, museum directors, curators, writers and business leaders. Ages 13-25. Applications due 31st October.

Call to Earth Day - Join CNN for their second annual Call to Earth Day. This year's focus on Living Oceans: Turning The Tide. Register an event now and perhaps you will be highlighted on CNN on 3rd November.

Social Shifters: Global Innovation Challenge - A social innovation challenge designed to help young leaders explore, start and grow their creative ideas, projects, and business solutions to solve the social or environmental issues that matter most in their communities. Winners of each category eligible for up to $10,000 cash award, and a free digital incubator program will be available to all eligible applicants worldwide. Ages 18-30. Registration closes 9th November.

2023 Solv[Ed] Youth Innovation Challenge - An opportunity for youth ages 24 and under to submit a tech-enabled solution that addresses an unmet social, environmental, or economic need in their community. Whether the solution is a concept, a product that is being prototyped, a service that is being piloted in your community, or a fully operational nonprofit or for-profit organization, you are welcome to apply. Selected participants receive $5000 USD, and winners receive a prize from a pool of $100,000USD. Deadline to submit 24th January 2023.

Introducing the 2022-2023 World Ocean Day Youth Advisory Council!
We are proud to introduce the new cohort for 2022-2023! Representing 20 nations, these young leaders come from all types of backgrounds and experiences and will help power World Ocean Day forward throughout the year ahead.
Thank you to all who applied; it was an extremely competitive process. Big thank you to the 2022 Selection Committee who helped with this challenging process! Next opportunity to join the Council in late June 2023.
