This effort is powered by the collective action of all and is committed to inclusivity and radical collaboration. Together, we can grow a movement for a more equitable and sustainable society and a healthy ocean!

World Oceans Day
Youth Advisory Council
With their fresh ideas and unique and diverse perspectives, Council members shape World Oceans Day, growing its reach and impact in June and advocating for ocean conservation throughout the year.

From developing youth-led projects to actively participating in conferences around the world, Council members put their skills, talents, and networking abilities to use - inspiring both youth to get actively involved and adults to make the right decisions.
Rise Up! Webinar
This youth-led monthly webinar series connects young people with a global online community of change makers focused on protecting our shared blue planet. 

By youth and for youth, each webinar highlights what young people are doing for the ocean, to protect the climate, and address other related environmental issues. The webinars also provide opportunities for how you can get involved!

Youth-a-thon

The first-ever Youth-a-thon was held this past June, World Oceans Day month. This 24-hour livestream event featured 73 youth leaders, organizations, and environmental experts from around the world who shared their work and passion for protecting our planet while also including ways everyone can get involved in the action!

Watch now and explore topics like environmental justice, plastic pollution, creative writing, storytelling, climate change, marine biology, deep sea exploration, and more with these change makers!
