Corporate Travel Insurance

- for Business Travellers

Corporate Travel policy is ideal for any Business person because it protects companies from many kinds of business travel expenses without many of the usual restrictions and exclusions placed on regular travel policies. It covers all travel for the twelve months for any combination of Overseas, Interstate and Intrastate travel.

If you have staff travelling on your company's behalf, you do have a duty to look after them. Legally you may be vicariously liable anyway. They take time away from friends and family sometimes at great risk. Their personal health and safety, as well as their own personal belongings are at risk. They will perform their work better and represent your company much better knowing that they would be looked after in an emergency travel situation.

Corporate Travel Insurance also covers expenses for medical treatment, emergency medical evacuation, flight cancellations or lost luggage for your Employees or Directors who travel overseas or within Australia on business. Some insurers offer cover for acts of terrorism and war.

Some of the other features include Kidnap, Ransom, Detention & Extortion; Repatriation of Mortal Remains or funeral expenses; Alternative Employee Expenses; Hire Car Excess and Personal Liability. Overseas leisure travel of insured company director's and their accompanying spouse and dependent children are also automatically included.

Corporate Travel Insurance is very handy cover to have. Not having to constantly arrange Travel Insurance for any business trips away but instead having an annual blanket policy is the ideal solution for your personal safety and security when travelling.

Barking Up the Wrong Tree

Paddy and his wife are lying in bed listening to the next door neighbour's dog barking.

It has been barking for hours and hours.

Paddy jumps up out of bed and says, "I've had enough of this." He goes downstairs.

Paddy finally comes back up to bed and his wife says, "The dog is still barking, what have you been doing?"

Paddy says, "I've put the dog in our yard. Let's see how they like it!"

See you next month.
