The CobraHead Newsletter
We are in the process of completing a move to a new space. The newsletter is a very abbreviated version of our usual monthly offering, as we've all been super busy getting our stuff into the new home.

CobraHead Long Handles are still out of stock. We think mid-September before we'll have them again.

Don't forget to enter our monthly giveaway (just reply to this email and request to be entered). As always, feel free to leave us any additional comments when you do!

We had an excellent sweet corn harvest, even though the pesky raccoons got their fair share. We froze 12 pounds and feasted on fresh cobs.

Risotto with mushrooms. Judy used our windfall harvest of oyster mushrooms to make this dish.

Andy's Photo Corner
Last weekend, Cambridge hosted a festival called the Midwest Fire Fest. Back after a three-year hiatus due to Covid, Fire Fest features all types of art that use heat as part of the process. So forged iron, pottery, glass, and other hot crafts are on display. The highlight of the Fest is the firing of a huge pottery sculpture. This year the sculpture was Jonah and the Whale. It's cooking in the large bottle-shaped kiln, which is opened late Saturday night to the oohs and aahs of the crowd. While Andy took the three photos of the hot sculpture, I took the picture of the completed sculpture taken the next day after it cooled down and filled in the copy, so this edition is Noel and Andy's Photo Corner.
