Participants also called on us, the U.S. Provincial Leadership Team, to represent our sisters and associates in a Ritual of Reconciliation. We chose today, Valentine’s Day, as an appropriate time to do this because there is no greater love to share than reconciliation.
We pray that you may enter into this presentation in a spirit of quiet contemplation, solemnly acknowledging both the ways that our past behaviors and biases have hurt others, and the need for reconciliation. You may choose to make this ritual a focus of personal prayer, a catalyst for group discussion, or simply a moment that inspires healing.
We hope that this ritual may play a part in the transformation of our community. As always, we welcome your responses, reflections, and insights.
