2025 River Heights Chamber Board Member Planning Meeting Update

A big thank you to our Chamber Board members who took time out of their busy schedules to attend the recent Board Planning Meeting in person. We appreciate your commitment and thoughtful input — it was a great discussion and an important step in shaping the Chamber’s future!

KEY COMMUNITY BANK partners with Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines to award $10,000.00 to Soldier’s 6 through the Member Impact Fund 

This matching grant program resulted in FHLB Des Moines awarding $20 million in funding to support affordable housing and community development in Minnesota. 

We are honored to have partnered with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines to present a Member Impact Fund grant to Soldier’s 6! This is truly a lifesaving organization that we are so blessed to work with. This grant will help their mission of providing service dogs to military, police, fire fighters, and other first responders. Congratulations and thank you for all you do!

Inver Hills Expansion Supports Tomorrow’s Workforce

Inver Hills Community College is excited to share that the $22 million, state-funded renovation of the Business & Technology Center is nearing completion. This revitalized 31,800-square-foot space will feature 15 modern, tech-enabled classrooms for programs like IT, paralegal, business, and engineering, to better serve and prepare students to be the talented professionals your business and our community needs.

President Michael Berndt said it best:

“This project not only updates aging infrastructure, but it also supports today’s and tomorrow’s students with learning spaces that are designed for how students learn now. The investment in this facility is truly an investment in student success.”
