DARTS Announces New President, Mike Lavin

DARTS is excited to announce that Mike Lavin will step into the role of President starting June 2, 2025. Mike brings deep community roots and a strong commitment to serving older adults and caregivers. He will succeed Ann Bailey, who is retiring on July 1 after more than a decade of dedicated leadership.

Celebrating 10 Years of A&W in Inver Grove Heights

A big congratulations to A&W on their 10th anniversary in the Arbor Pointe area! The celebration was filled with fun, food, and community spirit — with special appearances by the Mayor, City Council members, Chamber representatives, and many local residents.

Guests also enjoyed a showcase of A&W’s Thursday Night Classic Car Show, adding to the nostalgic charm of the evening.

In 2015, former NBA player Les Jepsen opened this beloved spot — and it’s been serving up smiles and root beer floats ever since!

Celebrate the 2026 Olympics in Inver Grove! 

Olympic Figure Skaters and US Figure Skating Champions Slated to Compete at the 2026 Olympics will be performing in an exciting figure skating show at the Veterans Memorial Community Center on Friday July 18th at 6 pm! Other numbers include local aspiring figure skaters, American Ice Theatre, and MN Sled Hockey! Anyone is welcome to come and watch these elite level skaters and other entertaining numbers up close and in a great seat at the VMCC!

Figure Skaters! There are workshops and classes for skaters of all ages and abilities to participate in on Sat July 19th at the VMCC! All of the Olympic figure skaters and Olympic figure skating hopefuls will be teaching the classes~ this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from all of these amazing athletes locally!
