River Landing Summer Youth Golf Program
Starting June 6th
For the past 16 years volunteers from the River Landing golf community have sponsored a summer youth golf program loosely modeled after the national First Tee program. It is intended to reach out to young people beyond the gates of River Landing who would not have the opportunity to be exposed to the sport of golf. Our volunteer coaches teach golf but also life skills based on the game.

Starting June 6th, the program will be held each Monday for 6 weeks from 9am to 11:15am.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
VOLUNTEER COACHES/DRIVERS:
  • We need coaches (particularly women)! Our instruction is very basic and led by one of our golf professionals, so you don't have to be a pro player to coach.
  • Some students need rides to River Landing so we need volunteer drivers.
  • Volunteers DO NOT have to commit to coming every Monday.
DONATE CLUBS AND BAGS:
  • The junior golfers are provided a bag and set of clubs donated by the River Landing community each season. Individual clubs and putters are also welcome and will be used to piece together sets.
  • Drop off all donations at the bag drop and let the cart attendants know they are for the program.
REFER A JUNIOR GOLFER:
  • Do you know anyone that could benefit from this program?
  • Ages: 11-15
  • Non-residential youth
  • Please gain permission from their parents BEFORE referring.
