Using revised Georgia state guidelines and social distancing rules that went into effect April 24th and includes rules that extend to June 12th, the campground will continue to operate with an abundance of caution to protect the health and safety of both guests and staff.
The two most significant changes at this time are that limited indoor accommodations will become available to rent on June 1st and the pool will tentatively open on May 14th.
Elbert County officials plan to certify the pool on May 13th for a May 14th opening. Deck chairs have been placed and spaced for couple use and social distancing between couples. Moving chairs outside these guidelines is not allowed. Pool use will be monitored for social distancing as well. The pool and pool deck will close at 8 pm nightly. It is highly anticipated that observance of these new practices will be adopted and implemented by those making use of the pool in order to keep it open for all.
The Hot Tub will remain closed at this time along with the Game Room and Club House. The shower and toilet facilities on the back side of the Game Room will be open.
Day passes will remain unavailable.
