Riverside Outpatient Center at Cambridge Opens
We celebrated the opening of the Riverside Community Care Outpatient Center at Cambridge on the campus of Lesley University on November 18, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the new facility. A first-of-its-kind partnership and potential national model for student behavioral healthcare, the partnership will not only expand mental health services for students and serve neighbors in the community as well, but advance the field by providing student internship opportunities and faculty collaborations on innovative research and practice initiatives.

Riverside VP Don Hughes Wins ABH Award
Don Hughes, VP of Community Living Services, received the inaugural Scott M. Bock Force for Change award created by the Association for Behavioral Healthcare, awarded at their annual Salute to Excellence in October. Don was instrumental in developing the Regional Employment Collaborative model in Massachusetts and has been a leading voice for Clubhouse funding. He and Riverside founder and long-time CEO Scott worked together for almost 40 years, and we can’t help but think how happy Scott would be to know that Don received this new award named in his honor.
