Stepping Up Against COVID-19
Gratified to be able to move the battle against COVID-19 to the next level, on January 11th Riverside began the roll-out of our vaccination program to people served in our homes, as well as Phase 1 employees. We are anticipating high participation, so we’re ramping up our schedule as quickly as vaccine doses become available so that we can protect the people we serve and our employees. Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives at Riverside
While Riverside was already working to address diversity and inclusion within the organization, after the death of George Floyd we propelled our efforts. In July, we initiated “Listening and Learning Sessions” for all employees to provide insight into what we need to address as an organization. In the works is a bold, five-year plan that includes cultural competency and unconscious bias, diversity in the senior leadership and Board of Directors, and understanding the diverse needs of the people we serve. At Riverside, we strive to ensure we are a welcoming, inclusive, and culturally competent organization, and we look forward to sharing our progress with you.
