Reminders

Good afternoon Riverside Families,

We had a great week at Riverside as students started Unit 2 in reading - if you haven't asked your child about their project for Unit 1, please do :) The Menomonee Falls Fire Department finished up fire safety presentations with each of our classes too. Lastly, it was truly a special day on Wednesday when our 4th graders sang at our community Veterans' Day Program in our gym and passed out thank you cards to all the Veterans in attendance. We will honor and remember all our Veterans on Monday as well at Riverside. We have had staff members in the past who have served and if you are Riverside family member that has served, we thank you for your service!

A Piece of the PIE

🥪 We raised nearly $550 from October's restaurant fundraiser night at Chick-fil-A. Thanks to all who ate some delicious chicken and raised money for our schools. Our next restaurant night is from 4-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at Café Zupas.

🎃 ICYMI: We posted the winners of October's trunk-or-treat event on our Facebook page. (Follow us if you haven't already!) The Spider-Man trunk took home the gold, Wizard of Oz trunk came in second, and the pirate trunk got the bronze. Every trunk was a winner in our book because we appreciate your help in making our second annual trunk-or-treat a success.

✏️ Our next PIE meeting is slated for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Ben Franklin. We hope to see you there!
