Good afternoon Riverside Families,

We hope you had a great weekend! Thank you to those of you who have already answered your child's teacher's communication survey. They will be out again this week and we appreciate your feedback.

We will have our winter spirit days coming up this week - Please see flyer below! Still a lot of learning to be done this week, but we will have some fun with our annual Winter Celebrations Around the World on Thursday and some other activities on Friday. We hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season and are able to spend time with the people that you cherish. We are thankful as a staff for the relationships with our students and families and all your support over the first part of the school year and 2024! Just a reminder that school will resume on Thursday, January 2.

We're Hiring! Health Room Opening

We are in the process of looking for a health room assistant as Mrs. Burks has accepted a position in the healthcare industry and we wish her well! Her last day will be Friday, December 20. A Piece of the PIE

☃️ It was nice seeing everyone who braved the cold to gather at the annual PIE holiday social. Our next meeting is Jan. 14 at Riverside.

🍲 A reminder about our not one, but two awesome fundraiser nights this month. The first is a restaurant night from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at Noodles & Co. The other is ultimate dodgeball on Friday, Dec. 27 at Surge Martial Arts.

Want to help?

There are many opportunities to help out at school. Whether helping in the classroom, at PTO events or chaperoning a field trip, we'd love your help.

To ensure that all adults who come in contact with your children are safe to do so, we run background checks on all volunteers. You can apply today to be a volunteer at the link below. Please note that it does take 48-96 hours for the process, so if you want to volunteer, apply early.
