SECONDARY WATER SYSTEM SERVCE UNDERWAY
Servicing of Riverton's secondary water system has begun and water is being added to the pressurized system.

If you use secondary water, please ensure your ball valve is closed; otherwise, flooding may occur on your property.

It is anticipated that the secondary water system will be fully pressurized and available for use by May 1. Please do not begin yard irrigation until May 1, even if there is water available at your home before then.
TEEN EGG-STREME CHASE THIS FRIDAY, MARCH 31
Teens age 13-18 years old are invited to participate in Riverton’s annual Teen Egg-Streme Easter scavenger hunt. Clues will lead teens to safe local destinations, shops or landmarks throughout our city boundaries. Only those who register will be able to redeem prizes. Clues will be emailed to all registrants and posted on our Facebook page at Noon on Friday, March 31. Teens will have until 4 p.m. that day to return to the Recreation Department at City Hall to collect prizes. Click the button below to join our Facebook event!

FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN AGE 12 AND YOUNGER INVITED TO THE RIVERTON BUNNY HOP ON SATURDAY, APRIL 8
Come enjoy an Easter tradition with the kiddos at the Riverton Bunny Hop! Families make their way around Riverton City Park visiting stations to get candy or prizes and to participate in fun Easter activities. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be in attendance for a quick visit and photo with the kids.

When: Saturday, April 8
Time: 10 - 11 a.m.
Where: Riverton City Park | MAP IT
Ages: Families with children age 12 and younger

RIVERTON CITY TO HOST TWO SPRING CLEAN UP DAYS IN APRIL
Riverton City is sponsoring two Spring Clean Up Days in April with community dumpsters at two locations available each day for 1) trash, 2) cardboard and 3) tree branches. Residents are invited to spruce up their yards and homes those days and dispose of waste at the community dumpsters. Not all items are acceptable for these dumpsters please visit our website for additional rules and details.

LEARN HOW TO PLANT A TREE AT FREE WORKSHOP
Get the inside scoop on how to successfully plant trees and learn what trees work best in Riverton soil during Riverton City’s annual Arbor Day Tree Planting Workshop. The city’s urban forester and ISA certified arborist, Patrick “Roman” Williams, will be on hand to give a live tree-planting demonstration and answer your questions on how to plant and grow a healthy tree. Free and open to all.
