Tickets are now on sale for the 2021 Riverton Town Days Rodeo! The rodeo will take place on Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26.
Ticket cost is $9. Tickets must be purchased online. There will be no ticket sales at the gate.
Due to anticipated high demand, we recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as possible! Don't wait to buy your tickets.

RECYCLE RIGHT DAY:
RESIDENTS INVITED TO RECYCLE BULK PAPER, CARDBOARD, ELECTRONICS, GLASS & TIRES

Riverton City will host Recycle Right Day on Thursday, May 20 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the south parking lot at Riverton City Hall. Residents can recycle items for free. Proof of residency will be required.
Items that can be recycled include:
- Bulk Paper (for shredding)
- Cardboard
- Electronics
- Glass
- Tires (no rims)

NOMINATIONS SOUGHT FOR TOWN DAYS PARADE GRAND MARSHAL |
Public nominations are being accepted for the Grand Marshal of the 2021 Riverton Town Days Parade. Nominees should have made a positive impact on the community through many years.
There are many deserving folks in our community, so please consider nominating someone you know.
Nominations must be submitted by May 24, 2021 (at the latest) to be considered.

APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED FOR RIVERTON YOUTH COUNCIL |
Teens age 14-18 (grades 8-12 next school year) who live in Riverton are invited to apply to serve on the Riverton Youth Council.
The Youth Council provides opportunities for service, leadership, and civic involvement. Applications are currently being accepted. Those interested in serving on the Youth Council should apply as soon as possible.

TOWN DAYS PARADE ENTRY APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED |
Businesses or organizations wishing to enter the parade must submit an application. We are currently a little over 50% full. It's free for Riverton businesses and organizations to enter and only $20 for businesses or organizations outside Riverton.

MEMORIAL DAY PROGRAM TO BE HELD AT NOON ON MONDAY, MAY 31 |
All are invited to attend Riverton's annual Memorial Day Program on Monday, May 31 at Noon at Riverton City Cemetery. The American Legion Post #140 will present a program. The program includes the honor guard, a 21-gun salute, and reading of deceased veterans buried in the cemetery. The program will start at approximately Noon. Be sure to bring blankets or lawn chairs for your family to sit on.

All are invited to attend the grand re-opening party for the splash pad at Old Farm Park. Bring the kiddos and come have a splashing good time! Riverton City will be giving out free snow cones. Open to all!

RIVERTON CITY WILL PARTICIPATE IN RANKED CHOICE VOTING |
On December 15, 2020, the Riverton City Council voted to participate in the Municipal Alternate Voting Methods pilot project for the 2021 municipal elections. This voting method is better known as ranked choice voting.
Because of this decision, the declaration of candidacy period has changed to August 10-17. There will be no primary election.
The following offices are up for election this year:
- Mayor (at large)
- City Council - District 3
- City Council - District 4
