A Note From Dr. Compton
Dear Lions,

I wanted to take just a minute to recognize all of the incredible teachers that we have at Riverwalk Academy. I am blessed to get to work with these outstanding educators every day. There's not another group of teachers I'd rather spend my time with.
I love watching this group do what they do best; which is teach. Their work reminds me of a poem by Dr. Forest E. Witcraft because I know what they are doing is truly making a difference.

A hundred years from now
it will not matter
what my bank account was,
the sort of house I lived in,
or the kind of car I drove.
But the world may be different, because
I was important in the life of a child.
Let's have a great week, Lions!

Robert Compton, Ph.D.
Head of School
