A Note From Dr. Compton
Dear Lions' Families;

First let me begin by saying thank you to all of you who helped make teacher appreciation week a huge success. Our teachers felt like rock stars this week. Their energy was high and it was felt throughout all the classrooms. Thank you parents and PTO for all that you did to celebrate our teachers last week.

I also want to take a minute to say Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. I found this poem by Jenelle McBride that I'd like to share about mothers:

A mother comes with many different names.
Aunts who love, worry and play.
Teachers who help you, guide you and set your aim.
Sisters who listen, cry and put your worries at bay.
Grandmas with warm cookies, hugs and prayers so you'll never stray.
Yes, a Mother does come with all kinds of names.

Mothers, thank you for all that you do and thank you for being positive role models for your children.

Let's make it a great week!
