A Note From Dr. Compton
Dear Lions Parents,

I hope you all have had a great weekend. My family and I, along with some friends, spent Friday night at Scarowinds. We also enjoyed supporting Rock Hill's Miracle Park on Saturday.
This week is going to be an exciting week at Riverwalk Academy. Not only did we reveal the name of our Lion mascot (see below), but we have the Rachel Challenge assemblies on Tuesday. If you haven't done so yet, please consider checking out the Rachel Challenge preview videos. I sent them out in an email on Thursday (click here).  The students, staff, and families are in for a transformational event.

I'd also like to give a shout out to Cody Brien, 9th grade. Last year Cody pitched the idea of bringing Rachel's Challenge to our school. He arranged a phone conference between the school and the Rachel's Challenge Team. He's also helping to organize the Friend of Rachel (FOR) Club so the principles and values of Rachel's Challenge will continue throughout the remainder of the year and for the years to come.

Thank you, Cody, for your leadership. We are all excited about what's forthcoming. #PowerOfOne #ChainReaction

Have a great week, Lions!
