Introduction to UVTRON sensors

This video introduces our UVTRON sensors, ultraviolet ON/OFF detectors that can quickly detect a flame’s weak UV emission from a distance, making them suitable for flame detectors and fire alarms. In addition, they can be used for other applications such as electrical discharge detection.

Product highlights
InAsSb detectors

Our RoHS-compliant InAsSb detectors offer high-speed response and high sensitivity in the mid-IR range, making them suitable for gas detection, radiation thermometry, and other applications. A variety of cutoff wavelengths (up to 11 µm) and package types are available.
Mid-infrared LEDs

These improved MIR LEDs offer 3X the output power of our previous products thanks to material innovations. In addition, these low-cost LEDs have a long lifetime and low power consumption. Available emission wavelengths: 3.3, 3.9, and 4.3 µm.
Quantum cascade lasers

Our QCLs are excellent light sources for mid-IR applications such as molecular gas analysis and absorption spectroscopy. We offer a variety of narrow emission wavelengths within 4 and 10 µm.
