Road Closure: North Lakeshore Drive

(Lakeshore Drive) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish –The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a Left Lane closure along Southbound La-378, Sampson Street, from 8 PM, Sunday, April 26, 2026, through 5 AM Monday, April 27, 2026, beginning in the left lane between the two train tracks.

Work will be conducted weather permitting.

The closure is necessary for sign repair in the median.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
