Road Closure: I-10 Eastbound & Westbound

Exit 25 - Calcasieu Parish

CALCASIEU PARISH – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced alternating closures of Interstate 10 East and Interstate10 West at Exit 25 from 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, through 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025. 

Closures will be in 15-minute intervals with a minimum of 30-minute openings to allow all traffic congestion to clear. Crews will conduct work on I-10 East before moving to I-10 West. 

The closure is necessary for inspection of horizontal boring under roadway. Work will be conducted weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
