Lane Closure - I-10 Westbound

(Mile Marker 26 - Mile Marker 25) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces a left lane closure from approximately ½ mile before the US-90 overpass to the I-210 Exit Ramp.

Closure Dates: Sunday, August 09, 2026, through Wednesday, September 30, 2026

Closure Times:

• Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 p.m. through 5:00 am
• Friday, 9:00 p.m. through 10:00 am
• Saturday, 8:00 p.m. through 10:00 am

Work will be conducted weather permitting

The closure is necessary to remove high-tension cable barriers and saw-cut the shoulder for roadway widening.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
