Road Closure: I-210 

(Exit 1B - Westbound I-10 Merge) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a full road closure of Westbound I-210 beginning at the Exit 1B ramp. Traffic will be redirected to eastbound I-210. A detour route is in place.

Closure Dates: Monday, September 21, 2026, through Monday, September 28, 2026

Closure Times:

• Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 p.m. through 5:00 am
• Friday, 9:00 p.m. through 10:00 am
• Saturday, 8:00 p.m. through 10:00 am

Closure will be conducted, weather permitting.

Closure is necessary for crews to stripe the roadway for Phase 1 operations.

Detour Route: Take Exit 1B, I-10 Eastbound, continue along I-10 Eastbound to Exit 26, PPG Drive. Take a left onto PPG Drive and then another left onto the PPG Drive Westbound I-10 entrance ramp.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
