Road Closure: LA-378

Sampson Street Northbound - Calcasieu Parish

CALCASIEU PARISH – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced nightly Left Lane closure along LA-378, Sampson Street, from 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2026, through 5 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026, beginning at the left hand turn lane from the I-10 South Service Road and continuing Northbound down LA-378, Sampson Street, ending 500 feet past the first set of train tracks.

Work will be conducted weather permitting.

The closure is necessary for coring the inside lane shoulder.

• March 17: I-10 South Service Road left turn lane to Sampson Street ending 500 feet past the first train tracks

• March 18 (If needed): I-10 South Service Road left turn lane to Sampson Street ending 500 feet past the first train tracks
