Road Closure: LA-378

Sampson Street Northbound - Calcasieu Parish

CALCASIEU PARISH – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a nightly inside lane closure along LA-378, Sampson Street, from 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2026, through 5:00 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2026, beginning at the left hand turn lane from the I-10 South service road and continuing northbound down La-378, Sampson Street, up to 500 feet past the first set of train tracks.

Work will be conducted weather permitting.

The closure is necessary for coring the inside lane shoulder.

• March 4: I-10 South service road left turn lane to 500 feet past the first train tracks
• March 5 (if needed): I-10 South service road left turn lane to 500 feet past the first train tracks
