PRESERVE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
Bickmore Avenue from Euclid Avenue to Quality/Mayhew
Full 24 hour closure in both directions.
The City has received updates that the Alere project will not be able to reopen Bickmore Avenue on February 14th as previously approved. The project team cites unexpected challenges such as poor soil conditions, unknown utility conflicts, and recent weather conditions.
The City is committed to enforcing penalties for each day the road closure continues past February 14th, in accordance with the conditions of their encroachment permit. The City is working with the developer to complete the work and reopen Bickmore Avenue as promptly as possible.
We regret any inconvenience this may have caused and will continue to keep the community informed on the situation.
