Roaring through the Month
Does Your New ISU Student Need Money? July 1 Deadline
Many incoming first-time students receive renewable "recruitment" scholarships from Idaho State University. Check with your students to make sure they returned the required acceptance form to the Scholarship Office. The deadline is coming fast: July 1, 2021 for students starting at ISU in fall 2021. If you have questions, contact the Scholarship Office at (208) 282-3315 or by email at scholar@isu.edu.
Does Your Continuing ISU Student Need Money?
The Bengal Online Scholarship System (BOSS) is the place to go to apply for scholarships at ISU. Please be sure to check with your students to make sure they are applying for scholarships in BOSS and actively checking their ISU email for any scholarship offers or new scholarships for which they might be eligible. Students should visit isu.edu/scholarships and click on the BOSS Link.
Ensuring Your Student Has a Strong Start
New Student Orientation & Registration not only helps your students get into the classes they need, but also helps them make important connections to resources and ensure they are ready to start their first semester of college successfully. If you are the parent or partner of a newly admitted student, encourage them to sign up for an NSO session now. Sessions are offered throughout the summer.
Counseling and Testing Services
Counseling and Testing Services, or CATS, are available to students who are enrolled in summer classes. Sometimes students do not realize these services are available throughout the year. If your student would like to talk to someone, we have great listeners! Students can call us at 208-282-2130, or check us out online! isu.edu/ctc
