Here's a winery that needs no introduction and a deal that we couldn't pass on. Normally we don't sell Mondavi wines just due to the fact customers can easily access them without our help.
However, I was talked into tasting this Napa Pinot Reserve and blown away by it's lushness and fruit forward dark berry flavors. The excellent price didn't hurt either, normally a $75 bottle, we have it on cases at $55.
Review:
Black cherry, mocha, new leather, dark spices and menthol infuse Mondavi's 2015 Pinot Noir Reserve. Juicy, bold and voluptuous in the glass, the 2015 is decidedly lush and fruit-forward. All the elements meld together effortlessly. The 2015 was done with some whole clusters, but it is the juiciness of the fruit that stands out most.
