Little Gabriel here spent a few minutes exploring our Cedar Falls store, then took as much time as a guy his size needs to choose just the right flavor of ice cream. Eventually, he settled on a single scoop of strawberry atop a sugar cone.

Those familiar with Hansen's Dairy know that moos and 'roos are our specialty. In May, we're adding roars to the mix.
Our Cedar Falls store will be among 27 locations to display a custom-designed, 6-foot-tall University of Northern Iowa TC mascot. The statues will be displayed from May through October as part of the Cedar Falls Tourism & Visitors Bureau Panthers on Parade project. A number of local artists will create unique designs for each location. We're excited to be working with artist Caitlyn Bardle.
What will the finished TC look like in front of our store? Well, we're sworn to secrecy on the design, though we may have let it slip in earshot of the herd. We're confident the cows will keep it udder wraps. (Again with the puns.)

Proximity led University of Northern Iowa student Katie Tomash, pictured at center, to our Cedar Falls store.
Fresh milk for her morning lattes, ice cream and sub sandwiches keep her coming back.
"My first introduction to Hansen’s products was when my roommates and I decided to stop in the store to get ice cream," she says. "We live within walking distance, so in the summer we walked there multiple times a week to enjoy a treat. Now we stop by weekly to stock up on milk, ice cream, and occasionally get a sub sandwich. We love introducing our friends to Hansen’s to enjoy ice cream together."

Smack your lips, it's Smores time!
While our March Cow of the Month isn't made of chocolate and marshmallows, she produces an abundance of truly tasty milk. She can't help it. It's in her genes.
Smores is part of our "S" line, a descendant of our current starlet, Scarlet. Cows in our "S"-name family have the genetics to produce more than a whopping 200,000 lifetime pounds of milk per cow.
Smores is a young, gentle cow who loves being in the milking parlor. In fact, she'd rather stick around after milking to watch her herdmates get milked. This has earned her the nickname "Parlor Supervisor" from our milking crew. We think she'll soon be promoted to Parlor Director.

Crazy Sriracha Grilled Cheese | |

Ingredients
- 4 large slices of bakery-style bread*
- 1 Tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature*
- 1/2 tsp Sriracha sauce
- 2 slices mozzarella cheese*
- 2 slices cheddar cheese*
- 3-4 slices of deli-style chicken
- 4-5 medium-sized slices red onion
- Pickled banana peppers
- Sliced tomatoes
*Items that can be purchased at Hansen's Dairy stores

Directions
- In a small dish, combine butter and Sriracha. Stir until well mixed.
- Spread the Sriracha butter on one side of each of the four slices of bread.
- Place 2 slices of bread butter side down.
- Beginning with cheeses, layer the remaining ingredients on top of the bread.
- Place the remaining slices of bread (butter side up) on top of the finished sandwiches.
- Place a grill pan or fry pan over medium heat for several minutes until hot.
- Carefully transfer the sandwiches to the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes per side or until bread is browned. Serve immediately.
