Colorado sent 13 teams to the Frontier Trails BEST Regional championship held on 2 and 3 December at the Fort Smith Convention Center in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. It was an outstanding championship with 38 teams and very competitive robots from 9 BEST Hubs from Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Kansas.

- Golden Plains Team Accomplishments: Otis Jr-Sr High School made it to the Semi-finals and Peetz Jr-Sr High School almost made it to the semi-finals. That's amazing for a brand new hub and brand new teams!!
- DSST: Byers was the only public school in the finals; the other 3 schools were home school conglomerates from KS, OK, and AR.
- Kudos to the students from Ralston Valley High School (RM BEST) and DSST: Byers (RM BEST) teams who helped the Academy for Advanced and Creative Learning team resolve a computer coding error while in Arkansas.
