We are thrilled to be able to again host schools from the Denver metro area and around Colorado. We are now signing up teachers and mentors and have room for 13 more schools.

2017 CROSSFIRE Game Hints
The full details of the 2017 CROSSFIRE game will be revealed to student teams at our September Kickoff. Until then, hints are available to 2017 students. First, a 68 second Game Teaser Video is available by clicking the box below.
Weekly bESTology web postings are now available. bESTology is the study of Engineering, Science and Technology. Students are encouraged to become
 bESTologists!
Weekly activities developed by Friends of BEST in Alabama are unveiled each Sunday at 5 PM MT. Each post
contains HINTS for the CROSSFIRE game. In addition, bESTology teaches the science, engineering and technology that will enhance the learning experience for the 2017 BEST game.

Denver BEST Regional Championship Awarded
Hurrah! In 2017, qualifying Colorado school teams from the 5 Colorado BEST Hubs will no longer have to travel out-of-state to compete in a BEST Regional Championship.
We will be working closely with our Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) partner to hold the inaugural Denver BEST Regional Championship in 2017 and look forward to getting you involved.
Stay tuned for more information about the 2017 Denver BEST Regional Championship to be held at the MSU Denver at the Auraria Event Center.

"DREAM BIG Eads" STEM Outreach Event Coming...
"Dream Big Eads" is coming to Eads High School on Thursday, April 27. Eads is 115 miles east of Pueblo. Organizers are expecting approximately 250 students (grades 7 - 12) from Eads and surrounding areas to participate.
Aerospace will be a significant focus of this STEM Outreach Event, but it will also include cyber and robotic activities. RM BEST plans to participate, look for more information in our March newsletter!

bargains, a wine tasting, and a cooking demonstration with tasting
by Chef Greg Boynton.
We are planning to have DSST Byers and
STEM Academy students demonstrating their team robots!

Event is at BAC Appliance Center from 5:30-8:30 PM Sunday 9 April. Casual Attire.
 Event Fee: $35 ($15 Tax Deductible) in advance or at the door. Included in the fee is a $5 coupon to apply to a silent auction purchase.
Your participation at this fundraiser is critical to help us provide to the student teams their robotics electronics and parts, awards, student lunches, and all the activities to host our 2017 competition.
