A Public Health advocate in the making...
|
|
LILI WARREN |'12| PUBLIC HEALTH
New York, USA
Lili Warren grew up in Washington, D.C. in a French-American family. Yes, she was (and still is!) one of those proud “Rochambeau Forevers”. After graduating from the Lycée, Lili attended McGill University in Montreal, where she studied Psychology and Neuroscience. She then worked in a Molecular Neuroscience laboratory, exploring the roles of brain receptors. But soon she realized that while she was passionate about hard sciences, her calling was elsewhere – away from slicing tadpole brains. Her training in basic and social sciences, as well as her experience as a multicultural and trilingual global citizen, led her to pursue a Master’s of Public Health (MPH) at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City. Here she strives to translate science into policy and make an impact at a population-wide scale.

- Historic Triangle Study Visit (1994-2007)

In June, we celebrated an important
accomplishment
! Barbara Ermler, our English AND Science teacher, retired after
45 dedicated years
at Rochambeau!
Mrs. Ermler's achievements go back to 1972 in Yuma Street (Rochambeau's past location). Barbara has a message for our community

, Mr. Leblanc says goodbye to Rochambeau...
"Après 16 années au lycée, j'ai eu l'opportunité de former des centaines d'élèves qui en retour m'ont aussi beaucoup apporté et appris. Ce fut une expérience inoubliable. Le mélange des cultures est unique dans notre école et la participation en EPS est toujours excellente. Par ailleurs l'équipe de natation et le YMCA ont été sources de grandes satisfactions. Bref je quitte l'école avec une certaine émotion mais certain de la voir continuer à se développer."
