With your input and advice, we are READY!
Throughout the Fellowship I engaged with hundreds of you—students, parents, and educators. You’ve shared your hopes, dreams, and lived experiences, which have helped create the call to action for READY, a neutral, non-governmental, non-profit organization. READY will be laser-focused on our community-driven vision of increasing the number of children in quality schools in Rochester.
In READY for Quality Schools, I lay out a three-year, comprehensive, community-driven strategy grounded in our conversations that will build the capacity and knowledge base of parents to fight for quality schools; support and reward excellent educators; incentivize the best and brightest to enter the classroom; and make sure we pursue every possible pathway to improve existing schools and start new quality schools.
