Hello Rock Church Family,
Last weekend, Sue Davis shared with our church family the joy she has had being on full-time staff at The Rock Church, and her plans for a new season of joining the staff team at Compassus in Scarborough. This is exciting for Sue, since her husband Seth already works with Hospice Care through Compassus. For our church family this is a significant change as Sue has been on our full time staff team since 2009! Yes, that means we have 14 fantastic years of memories and ministry with Sue leading Events, Outreach, Missions, Small Groups and so many other parts of Rock Church Family life.
Of course, the important news in this message is that while Sue's role in leadership will change, the Davis family is staying local and will continue to be part of the church family! So, while we have a change of role for Sue, there is no change of relationship. In Sue's words, "I love what I do at Rock Church, and I love who I do it with. I will simply be changing the intensity of my leadership commitments."
